2019 has been no exception when it comes to investing in new medical equipment at TBL. This year, we have actually purchased three new lasers and lots of other medical equipment. Read more about the new equipment in the text below.

TBL purchases new lasers

Technological developments in medical lasers are advancing at an incredible pace, with new lasers constantly being introduced that are more effective, less painful, and faster than the previous generation.
At TBL Medical, our mantra has always been to have the latest and best lasers available. In fact, we have invested in new lasers every year since our inception nearly 10 years ago.

Fotona Dynamis SP Pro

Date of purchase: March 2019

Dynamis SP Pro from Fotona is considered the gold standard in lasers for skin tightening, removal of broken blood vessels, removal of pigment spots and stretch marks, and fat removal (fat melting).

Alma Soprano Titanium

Soprano Titanium, launched at this year's IMCAS trade show in Paris, is a game changer in the field of permanent hair removal lasers.

The previous generation from Alma (Soprano Platinum) was already miles ahead of its competitors. With the launch of Titanium with three different wavelengths, it is safe to say that there is no better laser for permanent hair removal on the market.

Soprano Titanium is the only laser that "fires" with three different laser technologies (Alex 755 nm, Diode 810 nm, and Yag:1064) simultaneously.

Visia7 – Skin Scanner

VISIA is a powerful digital photo and analysis system that "goes under your skin." VISIA takes razor-sharp images that are analyzed and show values such as wrinkles/lines, spots, bacteria/porphyrins, skin texture, acne, and pores. In addition, a UV image is taken where you can see sun damage and underlying pigments. VISIA's RBX technology also provides an image that shows blood vessels that are not yet visible to the naked eye.

Images and analysis make it easier for the therapist to visualize the client's problem areas, and the client also sees that action often needs to be taken.

DermaPen4 – Microneedling

Date of purchase: January 2019

We were the first clinic in Norway to upgrade from Dermapen3 to Dermapen4 back in January 2019. The latest version of the microneedling machine creates 48% more "holes" and 105% more "channels" than its predecessor.
