The VISIA skin scanner takes images of your skin in several different layers, allowing us to determine which treatment is best for you and your skin. The analysis shows sun damage, pigment spots, broken blood vessels, wrinkles, porphyrins, UV damage, unevenness, scars, etc.
How is the analysis conducted?
The actual examination with VISIA takes only a few minutes and is completely painless. The machine takes pictures of your skin at different angles using special flashes and UV light. These images are processed and analyzed by the machine, which then displays many images of the skin in different "layers."
Together with the nurse, you will review the images to evaluate the results. If necessary, the nurse will develop a treatment plan for you and your skin.
