Fotona Smooth Eye is a treatment that is perfect for those who want to remove wrinkles under the eyes, remove bags under the eyes, and remove wrinkles around the eyes. This is an area that has been difficult to treat effectively in the past, but the Fotona Smooth Eye protocol can tighten loose skin and minimize lines, wrinkles, and circles around the eyes. This treatment is suitable for those who are not ready for eyelid surgery, do not want fillers or Botox, but simply want to prevent aging.

Fotona Smooth Eye is a laser treatment that directly tightens the skin and increases collagen production around the eyes. The treatment can largely replace filler treatment and surgical procedures for the lower and upper eyelids.

What should you consider before and after Fotona Smooth Eye laser treatment?

We will tailor the treatment to your needs, which is why the "downtime" after such treatment varies. Most people feel fine after 3-4 days, and for preventive treatment, the downtime will be shorter, between 1-2 days.

Before your appointment, it is important that you have not sunbathed in the last 4 weeks prior to treatment, and that you stop using strong retinol and vitamin A acid creams that make the skin sensitive to light approximately 1 week before treatment. Your therapist will inform you of all this before your appointment.

After treatment, it is advisable to take it easy, avoid exercise for the first 2 days after treatment, swelling is normal, feel free to use an extra pillow in bed the first night to reduce the swelling. Your skin will be red and rough for the first few days, before flaking slightly depending on how deep the treatment was.

We recommend aftercare with Aquaphore for the first few days. You can start with your usual skincare routine and makeup once your skin has healed.

When will I see the results of the Fotona Smooth Eye treatment?

Most people will see results approximately four weeks after the first treatment, depending on their initial condition. Most people can expect to need three to four treatments for optimal results. You will see improvement for up to six months after treatment. It is then up to you to decide whether you want to have another maintenance treatment.
