Reduce acne breakouts with laser treatment
Active acne (acne vulgaris) is a common skin condition that most of us experience during adolescence (and later in life). Unfortunately, some of us are more prone to this condition and therefore need strong medication or active treatment to get rid of the problem. Laser treatment for acne is not a new treatment for this skin condition, but in recent years it has become much more effective and is in many cases considered a good treatment on its own or in combination with good home products, where strong medications such as isotretinoin are not necessary.

The Active Acne Protocol from Fotona uses an Nd:YAG laser that attacks and reduces inflammation in overactive sebaceous glands. A positive side effect of the laser treatment is that it also stimulates collagen production in the affected area, which reduces the likelihood of developing so-called "acne scars."
How many treatments are recommended?
Approximately 4-5 treatments once a week are recommended for optimal effect.
Your practitioner will also recommend good skin care routines to maintain the results.
